We are not at Atlanta this year, well physically I am not there, nor is Jamie's Painting & Designs products not there. Our licensed products are though. They traveled with one of the company's that license our artwork, and we, or me made a ton of samples.
I am excited by the new designs and hopeful that a few do well. This one is another "Brown & Pink" design...which is all anyone is asking for these days. I will continue to show some of our other new products, that have been sitting around, collecting dust.
I worked on about 20 new Just Because Plaque designs back in March? Yes March,sheesh? 
(remember Long Duck Dong from Sixteen Candles - Married? Married? Yes, married...sheesh! Anyway, they have yet to see the light of day. Hopefully with Christmas designs around the corner, I can start releasing the other new products.
Retail Trade Shows
I have heard through the grapevine that the Atlanta Gift Mart is slow, it sounds like many a retailer opted to stay home instead of traveling to a show. I am not going to jump the gun, or make assumptions - but I am not surprised. Slow may not be bad though - even if a show is slow an artisan may still pick up new accounts. I personally am relieved not to have the added pressure of exhibiting at a show this week, it would have been more than I could handle.
I can't believe that at this time last year we were pulling our hair out, crawling under tables and annoying all the adjoining booths around us while we were trying to bring some laughter into the oh-so-long day....er, week! Wish I were at BlogHer with you right now! Miss ya.

Oh....and I saw your plaques at Home Goods today. Yippeee! They only had one left, guess the others all sold. Woohoo!
