Well if you can pry your eyes away long enough from the Paris Hilton incarceration tragedy....uh ya I meant to say media circus to take a look at what I have been doing. I have been working my little fingers to the bone and figured it was time to unveil some newbie products, a little sneak peak if you will. So please take a gander at our newest product line:
Door Hangers, Suggested Retail $25.00
The nice thing is that these are going to be added to our QUICK SHIP items and we can get these babies out the door in 3-5 days.
I have been working with these cute little tiles for oh, gosh almost three years. The idea for door hangers I must say was not an original idea....well I made THESE myself and gave it my own twist.
- The other door hangers are mostly just a sign, with out a picture or artwork. Other door hangers tend to be wooden, ours are porcelain.
We have been asked to do door hangers for quite sometime, but I did not have the time or the energy to really attack it. Until this year....this Spring to be exact when I was having my own little pitty party........so I uh you know, started painting, and painting and painting.
When designing these I had a hard time figuring out what to do for a few of them. Interestingly enough my favorite one is the Safari and it took me the longest to do. I could not quite wrap my mind around it. It is funny to me that the products or designs I take the longest on and that I am not enjoying are the ones I appreciate the most. The design that come super easy, or that I paint in ten minutes I don't appreciate, I don't fall in love with.
I am also very hesitant to add a new product line to our ever growing product line. I am not sure how it will do, wondering if it will compete with my existing products - always over thinking the situation. I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I do know that I am a bit, oh how shall I say uh.....impatient with new products...
When we released our Just Because Plaques earlier this year the sales were slow, then they started to pick up, and then more, and then a little more. I noticed that our products tend to take awhile for the public to embrace, it's like the longer a store or boutique carries our products the BETTER they do. Today one of our larger channels literally sells them daily, multiple plaques that is.
Like usual I was a little quick to judge and started to think by month two that they were a dud....but luckily I was wrong. Thank goodness nobody here listens to me, I don't know what I am talking about.
